Happy March 1st! Today's comic was kind of true for our world here - we had snow, high wind alerts and it's supposed to get down to 3 degrees tonight (wind chill -27)!
Jim did his final tweaking on the paper towel drawer this morning until he was satisfied with its fit...
Then he had to take it all apart and start the finishing process. This is going to be complicated because the front part around the paper towel holder will be gray and the rest will have a polyurethane coating and Formica bottom to match the rest of the drawers. That required lots of planning and taping when he started the priming...
Jim also took apart the blocking and glide assembly inside the cabinet so he can finish those pieces as well...
He resawed some cherry pieces - these will make dividers for the top drawer in the new cabinet...
He worked some more on the welder cart in the metal shop near the end of the day - it's almost ready for spray painting and casters...
