Jim was back in the wood shop this morning, preparing to first clean up the glued edges. Making sure he has a very accurate straight edge to follow...
Then starting to shave just a touch off...
The before and after shot...
Getting ready to do the front edge - Jim keeps smiling even though he's covered in plastic snow!
Edges all clean and the corner beveled...
Now comes the very challenging edge design work. Jim probably takes 8 or 9 passes to complete the first cut just to make sure he doesn't go too deep...
But now, both first and second cuts are about done - looking so nice! Jim practically filled up a trash can with plastic shavings before this picture was taken!
Jim wanted to take advantage of the last semi-warmer day for a couple weeks so he got out the power sprayer and gave both cars a much-needed wash!
Today was the first day since our 3' of snow in December that we can start to see the top of the rock wall!
