3.19.2021

This morning, both Jim and I headed out into the world for different errands.  I headed into Saratoga for some grocery errands - actually going into the grocery store for the first time since the holidays!  Jim headed the opposite direction to talk to the company that we hired to help move some of the heaviest items from the apartment into the carriage house.  He wanted to see if they were willing and able to move the countertop up the stairs and into the kitchen.  After talking with them, they set up an appointment for 9:00 on Tuesday!  Which means Monday will be dismantling and moving things out of the way.  So very exciting!

Once home, Jim did final cutting and placement of edge pieces for the beverage cooler countertop...

Then he started gluing...

Putting the first piece in place...

Then working around and building up the edges, allowing time in between for drying...

All the edge pieces are now glued!

Continuing on with the stair project, Jim sanded two steps going down into the lower level...

We had decided on which stain to use so Jim started staining...

Going to look very pretty!

With the time remaining, Jim went back to plastering...
