Jim's order came in at the Drywall Center so he headed there mid-morning to pick everything up.  Here's the steel but he also picked up more J-channel and corner bead.

Once he got home and unloaded, it was back to doing some hand millwork on the side drawer cabinet pieces...

This one is all done...

He decided to fill in the concrete cuts on the main stairwell floor - so first a good cleaning and then backer rod...

Then taping the edges...

Filling in with the self-leveling caulk...

Smoothing it out...

Then taking off the tape...

We can't walk on it for a few days, so Jim put down some tape just as a reminder...

Late afternoon, Jim headed to the metal shop to get started cutting some pieces for underneath the steel table for storage.  He's able to plug his metal band saw into the wall and move it out to work on - the metal shop is definitely becoming more usable!
