Then he did more blocking in the kitchen - this time it's for the top of the lower cabinets...
Then the rest of the afternoon, Jim spent working on electric in the attic. Which means that he had to literally crawl in and out of the tiny opening between the two sides dozens of times to get supplies, tools, etc. This is a crazy picture showing all the work involved...he had to run wire down the underside of the ridge beam, which involved putting all the little wire anchors in place.
Jim got the outlet all wired up too - although he was trying to use things he already has but decided he doesn't like this outlet cover, so it will be replaced at some point.
View of the run and light box from down in the living room. Seeing all of the loops that Jim makes near his boxes and in the breaker box reminds me - the building inspector took a look at all that and was so impressed - he said it's so smart but you don't see anyone do it anymore.
