It can't officially be Halloween time until Ghostie makes an appearance. He's very faded out and ghost like but he's been a family tradition for decades!
Jim took care of some household chores this morning - cleaning the filters and inspecting the AC units... Since he was working on the furnace recently, he is also bleeding any air out of the lines.
Another gorgeous day, so we headed outside after lunch. This portion of the wall is kind of far down, but was where Jim was uncovering some bigger rocks. They pushed the wall over and scattered it, so we'll get it built back up too...
But for today, we mostly concentrated on clean up. These are the trees that Jim pulled out yesterday. He brought his chain saw up to cut off the roots and then went down and brought the chipper up.

Next, we repositioned and took the chipper up near the old shed, where we had cut some small trees down. We went along the upper borders and cleaned up our stray piles.
Jim did a lot of grass cutting to finish off the day.
