Fall is just the best on Angel - it does our souls good to be outside and be surrounded by nature.
But besides just looking at the views, we went back to work on the stone wall. Jim moved more big stones that had been pushed over by the timber crew...
Then he used the excavator to pull out some trees that were growing in the wall! It was amazing - pulled it out roots and all so he didn't have to dig out any stumps.
This was a cluster of trees growing right on the wall that he pulled out...
These will be ready for chipping!
He brought over the rocks that he moved out...
And used the excavator to place them. Meanwhile, I used the rocks that we had accumulated to the side of the wall and made a good base for the bigger rocks.

Then he went over to our rock pile to get some medium rocks...
