It's always so fun to go stand on the new concrete and celebrate!  We took Mom out to show her too... 


The next task was to cut the concrete to prevent stray cracks.  First step is to mark the location and chalk a line...


Jim removed the forms from both sides so he wouldn't cut through the steel.  The vibrating worked great - the sides are smooth with no voids - perfect!


Then he got his concrete saw blade on the saw and put it in the cart and started to cut...


Blowing off all the concrete dust...


Then cutting the beginning edge, cutting from the other direction...


Starting to make the cross cut...


So very much concrete dust...


The plastic piece that holds the front tracking wheel broke, so Jim needed a few more hands to get close to the posts!


Removing the front form...


The floor looks amazing - definitely a job well done!
