Jim went over the 4Runner this morning, packing some tools, making sure air pressure and everything was ready for his trip tomorrow to pick up the saw.

After lunch, he was back up on the roof, doing some measurements... 

Then he did the beginning markings...

After that, he moved the topsoil that he had scraped, and started grading with the other dirt...

As I write this, we are under some severe weather alerts, so hopefully all will stay well.  We had some periods of hard rain last night (not that you could ever tell from the picture above!).  While this has been an unusual period of hot and humid weather for us, we are still very grateful when you look at other areas of the country.  

UPDATE:  We had a tornado warning here beginning at 5:00.  This is the first time we all went down into the auto bay just for precaution.  We watched the front come through and the trees were blowing like crazy.  No surprise that we also lost power, so we are running on the generator now.
