Jim was working on his jig this morning to set up for the angles on the back side of the pavilion roof...
After lunch, he was back to installing panels!
The way all this goes together is really fabulous and will keep the roof looking good for decades! There are tabs on the bottom that fold around the standing seam to protect it from water...
After a panel goes up, Jim installs clips every 30" to keep it flat and secure...
Using his hemming tool at the bottom of the next panel...
Now he has a lip that hooks onto the drip edge to again keep a continuous path for water to flow off the roof...
Putting the next panel in place...
Making sure the seams are tight...
Measuring for clip placement...
Repeating that process and moving across the roof...
Putting up the last full-length panel on this side...
End-of-the-day picture - wow! It's so clean and classy looking - love it!
Jim put all his tools away and then did a little grass cutting and trimming to end the day.
