Jim got all his tools and equipment up to the pavilion and then started working on the back side - another piece up...
Hemming the next piece...
Jim had to do some ladder modification before moving on because now the ladder has to sit on the roof. He had new end caps that weren't worn down like his other ones so held the ladder off the roof more. In addition, he had to take off the rope pulley bracket so it wouldn't scratch the roof. That was a chore but he finally got it off.
Working off the ladder to do the next piece...
Just one more piece to go on the back after this piece...
He wanted to finish the front while the shade was there, so he redid his jig for the different angle and started cutting. What's nice is that he's able to use cutoffs from the back for these front pieces.
Putting it up...
Front's all done except for the tiny corner piece, which he can do from the other side. Looks amazing!
Measuring for the last piece in the back...
Cutting it...it was getting late at this point, so he'll put it up tomorrow. It takes probably half an hour to put all the tools and machinery away for the day.
