Jim had phone calls this morning with the guy who has the tool he wants to cut the steel. The guy sent a bunch of pictures and they've had a few phone calls, so it looks like it will be a go. He's planning on going Wednesday to pick it up.
He spent the rest of the morning redoing his jig for the new angles on the hip roofs. Then he tore the front scaffolding down...
And started rebuilding on the side...
Making sure everything is level...
Trying out his template for the angle - it was perfect.
Then he had to figure out how to do the corners...
Once he got his practice piece to work, he put up the first piece of drip edge...
Starting on the next piece...
These corners are difficult; he has to modify the front drip edge and then make the side piece all fit together correctly along the hip...
He cut the angle in the drip edge and is putting it up...
