Today we celebrate Flag Day, the day we remember the anniversary of the United States flag adoption on June 14, 1777!
Our chipper saga continues and continues. Jim basically gave them an ultimatum today to either fix the issues or come pick up the chipper. It definitely got their attention, so we're hoping we can soon move on. One part got resolved. We got the new plate that they made that hopefully will allow the chipper to connect to the Bobcat. Jim negotiated a new set of knife blades for doing the switch, so he received those today too. He has spent so very much time writing emails, talking on the phone, strategizing, etc.
Now that hopefully that saga is coming to an end, Jim ordered our steel roofing today! He will use that for the pavilion roof, as well as for the roofs on the drop box and air conditioner cage. It will take them about 2 weeks to cut the steel and then Jim will pick it up. This is by far the cheapest route, but will require some additional time and planning.
