We had an early morning stairwell door delivery from Amazon (doesn't happen very often!) - so Jim got his new spool of welding wire...
Jim was using the metal bandsaw to drill holes for button welds...
These two spars are button welded together...
Spars are together and Jim is starting to cut the flanges...
Jim spent more time today dealing with chipper issues - some got resolved, but he is still waiting for a phone call, which is tough when he's trying to run machines.
After he was done for the day in the metal shop, he used the excavator to loosen some top soil from an area that he wants to build up.
Baby bird update - continuing to get bigger and the nest is getting too small!
