Jim glued the other rail on the lean to barn door.  This door is so big that it's a challenge getting everything  straight and aligned...

Got brought up all his tools and equipment to the pavilion.  He attached his jig and started doing the scoring for the middle mortises...

He's doing the cut on both mortises at the same time - good progress!

Testing the depth with his jig - perfect!

Finishing the other center mortise...

Then he moved to the first brace mortise - jig on and scoring...

We may get some rain tonight so once Jim cleaned up and got all his tools and equipment put away, he turned the beams over so the holes wouldn't fill up with water.  Great first day of carving!
