Jim had computer work to do this morning, but then got all his tools and equipment up to the pavilion.  Now that the main pockets are carved in the beams, time to do some other ones.  He has to make a pocket for the connection of the secondary beams that will intersect with the main beams.  These are a set depth, so Jim used his saw to make cuts...

This one had a big knot so it was harder to chisel...

In this picture, five of the six pockets are cut.  Jim got the other one done and all the tools and equipment put away before coming in to get ready for church.
