Jim got one side of the barn door painted gray today...

Mom's toe is still tender, but we brought her out to see all the timbers!

Then it was time to get all this timber organized and under cover.  Jim was able to use the forks on the Bobcat to lift this whole section...

We stacked some in the auto bay...

Some in the pole barn...

Jim cleaned out the lean to so that we could use that space as well.  He set aside the ruined siding and old treadmill frame that were stored in here to take to the steel recycling later...

Then we moved the planks in - Jim will use these for the roof instead of plywood...

All stacked nicely...

We moved these pieces from the pile to the forks...

Then moved them into the lean to...

And more in the pole barn...

We loaded these timbers onto the forks...

Then moved them onto runners in the yard.  This pile will be the first timbers that Jim will use and they'll be easy to access from here...

Jim was able to get the next bunch on the forks (picture taken while I was sitting on the Bobcat!)...

We dropped those off and then brought up the really big beams...

We wanted a little bit of protection from the weather, so we covered the pile with the tarps, and Jim put old wood on top to hold them down...

Then Jim loaded up the car with the steel from the lean to as well as what he had accumulated in the shops, and took them to the recycling center.

High 75.2/Low 57.5
