Jim went ahead and ordered our new ductless air conditioning unit and the condenser and the two inside units were scheduled to come today.  Of course, as it would happen, a big storm was also scheduled for this afternoon.  We don't get bad thunderstorms here too often but this one sounded bad.  

He worked on the computer this morning and then headed got the forks on the Bobcat and all ready to go.  While he was outside, he cut the grass in the triangle.  It literally probably grew 3"-4" in the last day or two!  When he came back in, he put a coat of protective paint on the now-longer lumberjack handle...

The delivery driver should have called Jim so that he could come down and get it off the truck with the Bobcat but that didn't happen.  Shortly after lunch, he got a text that it was delivered, so we all walked down to check it out.  We found this expensive unit just sitting at the end of the driveway.

A few drops started falling (and then stopped shortly after) but Mom walked back up the driveway with Jim in case it started dumping...

Then Jim brought the Bobcat down and picked up the pallet...

He had moved my car out of its spot and brought the pallet into the auto bay...

This is one of the units that will go inside - one in each bedroom...

Showing us the compressor unit that will go outside.  Jim will have to pour a concrete pad and build a protective cover to protect the unit from falling snow in the winter.  This project will be a ton of work - Jim brought up all the manuals to start going through them.

As I write this, we are getting some much-needed rain.  Fingers crossed that it stays calm and we don't have any serious weather.
