Mom and I headed out today - she had her one week follow-up with the ophthalmologist. She got a good report.
Jim had computer work this morning as well as a discussion with the building inspector. It looks like we'll need a building permit for the lean-to but there still seemed to be some question. After that, he got the door frames all sanded and hardware placed - he's hoping to paint them tomorrow...
It was another gorgeous day - the skies have been so incredibly blue! Today we were on dirt duty - Jim brought up 7 bucketsful all together...

While he continued bringing down dirt, I started spreading grass seed. We haven't had rain in awhile and could use some but we'll see if we can get some seed germinating!

We did a great job! Really looking nice - and just imagine some grass growing there.
Jim had gone through one big dirt pile and probably half of the other, so he went up the hill at the end of the day and did some work to make more.
