Jim decided to modify and improve his lumberjack tool so that it will work better with our giant logs.  He put washers in the joints to make them tighter...

Then welded on an 18" extension to the handle...

He also made a foot extension that he welded on - this small foot dug into the ground when he flipped the log over...

Jim also took off the floor cover plates of the car lift - being in two pieces, it made a loud noise and didn't seem as stable when driving over it.  He welded the two pieces together from the underside...
