Jim continued working in the wood shop today - using the jointer on more cherry wood...

 Planing the wood...

After resawing, he has the pieces cut for the sides of the upper drawers...

He got the rabbet cuts in and is starting to dovetail...

Trying a piece out...so pretty...

Jim also used the router to trim the Formica flush with the drawer bottom.  Jim is out of contact cement so we are going to stop at Lowe's before church and pick some up.

There's a small gap at the bottom of the door into the house - but it's amazing how much air comes in.    Since we don't heat the stairwell to the same temperature as the house, it's cold air coming in.  We have used a towel to block the air and even ordered a draft stopper from amazon that we returned - but Jim brought up a door sweep that he had and it works great.  So time to install - getting things marked...

Drilling...

 Problem solved!

 Off to church!
High 40/Low 34 - very foggy
