12.4.2019

Jim really wants to get the propane tank topped off so that we don't have any worries over this winter - however, we weren't expecting almost 20" of snow this week.  He called the gas company today and was hoping that they could come tomorrow.  Of course, they aren't real cooperative unless you want to pay a fortune to have a guaranteed delivery date.  Jim tried to explain that they may not be able to get up the driveway if they wait and it will be a drive out here for nothing.  We're hoping they come tomorrow but don't know.

So Jim spent most of the afternoon grooming the driveway - using the bucket on the Bobcat to get the snow off to where some gravel shows through.  Then he hand shoveled gravel on top.  Hopefully that will provide enough traction.  We are supposed to get more snow Friday so fingers crossed that they show up tomorrow!

When he wasn't battling the elements, he was inside working on cabinet parts.  He has cut and sized enough fronts and sides for 4 drawers...

Then he started figuring out placement for the dovetail joints.  This is called a blind dovetail because it is inset on the sides a bit so it requires a different set up.
