Wow...today is our 30th wedding anniversary - how in the world did that happen?  This 30+ years with Jim has been filled with so many happy memories, lots of excitement, and more love than ever.  I couldn't be happier or more proud to be Jim's wife and partner - love you dear!

I had a haircut this morning but then we celebrated our anniversary by going to brunch in Saratoga Springs.  We tried a new place which was fun and had great food - an old hardware store built in 1925.

After that, we headed down to Ghent to the lumberyard.  It was a nice day - the rain had cleaned the streets of most of the salt/sand, so it was a good day to take the 4Runner and pick up more wood for moldings and cabinets!   Here Jim is picking through the pine...

And starting to load up...

We had to stop at Lowe's on the way home and then we decided to really make it a day and eat at Applebee's - with Menchie's frozen yogurt for dessert!  We officially ate out more today than in the past year - ha!

On our way home, we saw the most beautiful full moon - it was enormous in the sky.  But how amazing is this - the night we got married, it was also a full moon!  We got married in Portland, Oregon, and then drove to Timberland Lodge on Mt. Hood for our honeymoon.  We came around a mountain curve and the full moon looked like it was hung there just for us - kind of like tonight!  I think that's pretty incredible to have another full moon on our 30th anniversary!

Thanks to all of you that called, sent cards and wishes - we love and appreciate you all!  Here's to the start of the next 30!
