We recently received the last order of ceiling lights for the metal shop and auto bays. Since they were significantly delayed due to back orders, we had to run circuits through alternate paths in order to get power working in the far bay. Now that the lights are here and mounted in the ceiling it was time to re-route power for the ceiling lights down the proper conduit lines.
The rework required some of the lights that we had put up much earlier to be "unwired' in order to do the re-routing. Jim had to take apart the back light in the second bay in order to pull all the wires for that circuit out through the conduit back to the breaker box.
It's tough to pull this wire through like this because the wire is so stiff.
From there, he basically started over, but pulled the wire through the desired conduit in bay 3...
Things are coming back together...the center light is all wired back up and working.
Jim was never as happy with these new lights as he was with the original ones but those are discontinued. However, when he went to put the reflectors on the new lights, they don't fit! So that's a phone call to be made tomorrow.
He's also still waiting on a call back from the garage door company to talk to them about making a custom pull cable made.
