A better picture of the end of the day work yesterday on the auto bay garage door track extension...
Having proofed out the process on the first side, the other side went pretty smoothly. Jim first put up the wood piece and the gusset boards...
Then he put up the mounting hardware and supported the tail end enough that he could get the placement figured out...
Hardware all fastened permanently...
Of course, the tail support structure had to be totally different from the other side so that took time to figure out and build...
Getting things all leveled out and fastened in place....
