4.6.2018

Using some of the new parts we picked up last night, Jim started working on the utility tub in the workshop bathroom.  He first cut off the pipe he had on during the testing phase and put the new trap adaptor on...

Then hooked up the feeder lines to the faucet...

The P-trap is now connected...

Using the steel blocking he put behind the drywall in this location, Jim was able to security fasten the tub to the wall...

Basically all done, except Jim doesn't like the drain that came with the tub - it's very cheap.  He has to go to the plumbing supply store tomorrow so is either going to order a new one online or pick one up tomorrow.  However, he was able to test the water lines and everything works well - we will soon have a working sink which will be such a luxury!

Jim mixed up a new small batch of skim coat and finished the bathroom!

Next, he sanded the entire laundry room!  Clean up is definitely on tomorrow's agenda but then this room will be ready for priming!

Jim also continued to do some electric work, finishing up receptacles for final inspection!
High 37/Low 27 - about 3" of new snow!
