It was another very icy morning - plus we had to start the day by going to our dentist appointments. Never fun but Jim especially hates to "waste" time right now with anything that isn't house related! But all went well so that's off the to do list for another 6 months. Unfortunately, by the time Jim got home, changed into work clothes and headed out it was already much later than normal. It didn't help that in his rush he forgot his separate carriage house keys and had to come home for those!
Even with a slightly crazy start, it was another good and productive day. Jim worked on some electric jobs first. This is the new ceiling light in the laundry room that he put up in exchange for the defective one. We are thrilled with these lights - they look great but they are LED and give off great light.
Jim put together our first pendant light that will be over our eating area - I was so excited to see this up! Jim wanted to double check about the length of the rod before he totally finished it but it's perfect!
He also put up our new light/fan control switch. Any new switches we get will be white and we'll gradually replace the almond ones for white in the kitchen.
This was the first time I got to see the hallway/kitchen ceiling completely dry after priming - it looked great. Jim started putting the final ceiling paint on this afternoon.
Rolling the paint on...
Moving into the hallway...
Starting to paint the entryway ceiling...
Doing the last little bit of edging - the hallway, kitchen and entryway ceilings are now painted!
After the ceiling work, Jim moved into the bathroom to finish up the last of the priming around the shower area before doing all the cleanup and heading home!
