Happy Birthday to my wonderful, amazing husband! This should be a very exciting year coming up - moving to the carriage house will certainly be in our future.
Jim spent his birthday working, of course! He finished taping and plastering the top ceiling of the stairwell today...
And is continuing electric work - getting receptacles and cover plates on outlets.
Mid-afternoon, he switched to skim coating in the laundry room...

Then we moved into the bathroom. We've decided to make a flat ceiling in the bathroom so Jim is skim coating that first.
Starting on the walls...
We ran out of thinned plaster and time before we could totally finish the bathroom, but we only have a little bit of the wall and then the closet area to go.
At the end of the day, we cleaned up and headed to Lowe's to pick up a few necessities. Then we went to Applebee's for a bite to celebrate Jim's birthday!
