Today was one of those rare, all-day rainy days. We hadn't had rain in quite a while though, so it was good. Most of the day was a light, steady rain which should be good for the grass seed we put down. The rain is also ushering in a little cooler weather - definitely helpful for roof work! Also, it should wash out all of the yellow pollen that we've had the last couple days. We noticed this phenomena the last few years - for a couple of days in the spring, everything is coated with a bright yellow pollen. This year, there was an article about it in the paper - it's pine pollen from all of the white pine trees. Interesting!
Jim still made good use of the day - he worked inside on wiring up more circuits in the woodworking shop.
