Because today was going to be a short work day, Jim decided not to mix any more mortar.  But he got all the block for the last course cut.  Since there is only one course to do, we'll wait until the first batch of mortar for bricks before we finish this wall so we don't waste any. 

Jim also got everything laid out - the lines on the wall are where the landing will go.  Exciting to think about stairs here too!

After Jim got the saw cleaned up after cutting, he turned his attention to electric work.  He put the adaptors in 2 more lights and got them mounted.  Then he got the conduit connected between the main line and one of the lights so that he can start to run wire through it.
