Back to work on the forms in the complicated area around the garage doors - lots of corners and door headers/frames to deal with.

Time to set up more scaffolding for the other garage door area.

Putting up the header over the garage door!

And assembling all the tough corners...

...on both sides of the door.  At this point, Jim is now done with all the normal 18" Nudura foam - just a few optimizers left!

In between, Jim is trying to take off some of the blocking used for the last pour and move it up for the next one.

Wow!  The left side is all completed - just a bit more to go!  The garage door headers are going to take some special work.  The Nudura will act as a beam to support all of the forces - so there will be lots of special steel inside.  In addition, Jim ordered some more cold-formed steel to act as a temporary beam under the header when the concrete is poured to keep everything straight and supported.  He figured it will be 1200 lbs of concrete over those openings so we definitely need that area supported!  The steel came in this afternoon so we will pick that up tomorrow.
