Jim was back working on the forms today. He made lots of progress...got through both of the difficult pilaster sections on the back wall.
Back wall up to full height!
...and around the corners. Corners are never easy but they are especially difficult with the optimizers - because they don't come in the nicely pre-made corner pieces like the regular-size courses. So Jim has to make the corner joints in addition to making everything else fit, including brick ledges on this corner.
He uses his saw to cut off all the teeth off the top of the optimizers...so there are always lots of teeth to clean up. We come home coated with these little tiny pieces of foam on our clothes and all over us!
In between Jim going up and down the ladder 100 times cutting pieces, figuring things out, getting tools, we worked on putting more membrane up. After I got the walls cleaned up, I would cut pieces and grab Jim on one of times on solid ground and we would apply the membrane.
Most of the front is done up to the brick ledges.
And most of the side wall is done too!
Another great day's work!
