It was kind of a drizzly morning - so both Jim and I headed out in opposite directions to get some errands done. The forecast was for rain on/off all day so we didn't think we would have much opportunity to work on the carriage house.
It really didn't rain too much, so after lunch, Jim headed out to do some car work. He still had things in kind of disarray after fixing the back window issue on one of the 4Runners. So he spent time getting both cars back in shape as well as doing some reorganizing in the box truck. It's so wonderful having the truck to work out of, but some days by the end of the day, things just get thrown in the back and get a little messy.
Jim had planned to go to the barn to look for a few things too. Then the blue skies started appearing through the gray. So he decided to stay and work. He got some steel work done as well as some foam work done for some of the tricky corners. Lots of little things that will make tomorrow's work go a little quicker.
Not bad for a day that was supposed to be all rainy!
