However, at the construction site, this was definitely one of those days that test your mettle. It was 90 degrees, humid, just kind of wore you out - especially when the task for the day was footers - which always involve digging!
We had lots of measurements to take to make sure everything continues to be right on target. We started with the front piece...
...and then turned the corner to meet up with our existing footer.
Then it was continuing down the front side...
...and working on the inside too. Poor Jim doing more digging!
We then moved to the upper part and started connecting to the footers on this side...
...and turning the corner.
At the end of the day, hot, covered in dust from head to toe, at least you can look at your accomplishments...and then go home and take a cold shower!
