7.26.2023

After Jim's morning computer work, he went up to the pavilion and marked the location of all the pegs.  He ordered a new bit that I will pick up at Home Depot tomorrow so he can drill the holes.

We did some cleanup work in the afternoon - some of the wood we've accumulated around the pavilion has seen better days, so Jim took screws out and broke it up to put in the trash...

We've been wanting to start cleaning up the leftover insulated concrete forms that we had stashed behind the shed in the woods.  We had hoped that we might use them but they're too old at this point, so we're going to start filling up the trash can with them each week...

Cutting the foam and webs...

The plastic wrap has become one with the earth!

How amazingly blessed are we that every corner of our lot is so beautiful?  And you can't see anything but trees no matter where you go!

Filling up the trash can...

The vampire wasps are back!  So far, we haven't found any nests in the triangle but Jim's been on the hunt for them the last couple days.  Today, he got down an old tennis racket and got one on the first swing!
