 Jim did computer work this morning and also cut the top molding for the baseboard next to the dishwasher...

After lunch, he headed outside and got all set up to continue cutting the mortise on the other side of the front post...

He then moved the jig and started scoring the diagonal area...

He repositioned, measured and started scoring the outline on the back post...

This was the stopping point today.  Jim had to clean up the tools and equipment, and had to go to the credit union and then Home Depot.

As I was making dinner, we got our first baby (now teenage) turkey sighting of the year - there were probably at least 20!
