Jim worked on the computer this morning and then got all his tools and equipment ready and up to the pavilion. After lunch, he started working on carving the mortise on the other front post...
Doing some chiseling...
Testing with the jig. He probably only had 1/4" to go, but we heard some rumbling in the distance and our weather app showed that a storm was due in about 20 minutes. The tools Jim are using can't get wet and it takes him at least that long to put everything away, so he stopped and cleaned up. We did get a quick brief shower and then it was over.
Jim took the opportunity to turn his attention back to tile. He cut the next grouping of pieces and started putting the adhesive on the wall...
