Mom and I went into Saratoga to do a Target pickup and some grocery errands.
Jim had been busy in the shop while we were gone - he got the air conditioning lines fastened in their hangars and the condensation tube inserted through the conduit into the wall. He has to double check that he will have enough tubing to go through where he wants it outside or we may have to change the outside location.
He also continued doing wood prep...
After lunch, it was back to work in the bedroom, bringing up the condensation tube...
This unit is really made for outside walls during the building process but it's obviously too late for that. So they give you a tiny hose to connect to the unit - Jim had to fasten the two tubes together with a clamp...
Next is bringing up the electric wiring...
This is a lot of STUFF in one hole with the two tubing lines, condensation tube and electric wiring! So Jim used his rasp to flatten out the hole he made so that the lines lie flatter and he'll be able to get them connected to the unit...
Everything is out the same hole!
Now to fit all that behind the unit so that it can all connect up and still lay flat on the wall.
Working to get things aligned...
Putting the unit down over all those tubes...
Ta da! Jim was able to get the unit snapped into place! He decided to order the special refrigeration oil so those lines are hooked up yet but it all works - huge accomplishment! Good thing - the next set of plumbing for Mom's unit came today. Definitely no rest for the weary!
