Mom had a doctor appointment this morning and then we ran some grocery errands. By the time we got home, Jim had gotten both his deliveries from Lowe's. Which is an interesting story in itself. Jim placed this order online and his store is our local Saratoga Springs store. Apparently, they didn't have most of the items so Jim was told that one delivery would be from Saratoga and the other from Albany. The truck from Saratoga came - it's a big truck with a tow motor on the back. The guy took the time to disassemble the tow motor, drive it up the driveway - for one piece of 2" x 4"! I could have carried that up the hill! All the rest of the items came from Albany. Here they are delivering the concrete...
Besides the concrete which Jim had them put near the pole barn, they put the rest in the turn around. Then Jim put the forks on the Bobcat and brought everything up...
Jim covered the posts with a tarp to keep them out of the weather...
Jim went up to the shed and brought down our old saw horses - we have some priming in our future...
Jim unpackaged a mail delivery as well - this is outside channel for the air conditioning lines. He also got some standoffs for the air conditioning unit on the pad.
High 71.1/Low 61.4 - amazing! |
