6.3.2022

Jim did more wood prep this morning...

Then started the gluing process for the third shelf for the bathroom cabinet...

He spent some time sharpening drill bits this morning as well...

Then he started investigating how he was going to drill holes in the bottom of the wall cavity to run the air conditioner plumbing lines.  He had to don his mask and gloves because - ugh, insulation.

Moving the insulation aside on the next opening as well...

He made a piece of blocking and drilled a hole in it to use as a guide when drilling the pilot hole through the track and flooring...

You can see that he had zero room to work - his drill barely fit in the cavity...

He put a tiny piece of wire through the pilot hole so that he could find it down below in the wood shop ceiling...

Then he was able to use his hole saw to drill the hole from the bottom...

The view from the bottom...

And the view from inside the wall cavity...

Once he had that hole done, he was able to mark the placement for the other hole.  One set of lines will go down from the unit in Mom's room and the other from the unit in our room.

Drilling the next hole...

Both holes done!

The first set of plumbing lines were delivered today so Jim unpacked them to check it out...

High 78.8/Low 57.6
