 Jim put a coat of primer on the back side of the drawer fronts today...

Then he cut and sized pieces for the drawer bottoms...

Then he put them through the belt sander to get them to the right thickness.  He has to do this multiple times to get to the right thickness as well as doing each side since the piece is wider than the sander.

A test fit.  It looks perfect but Jim decided to run them all through the sander again for a little more room - he has to account for both the glue and the formica.

A coat of primer on the front side of the drawer fronts...

First coat of polyurethane on the drawer bottoms...
