Jim worked a bit on kitchen design this morning. Since we are moving the dishwasher from its original planned location, Jim needs to finish the spot between the dishwasher and the wall. So he made this small piece that will attach to the wall and fill that space (complete with toe board!).
Then he made a new jig to bend the conduit to go from the new lights in the metal shop to the existing conduit...
One piece bent - he had to make two of these...
Both are up and attached to the lights!
The next step is running wire so Jim set up his tool cart and started pulling wire...
Working the wire through the conduit...
A snowstorm is heading our way. We are on the northern edge of it and are expected to get 4-8". Kyle in NYC is planning on 1-2'! Of course, that's exactly what happened with the last storm that ended up dumping 3' on us so we'll see! But Jim went out this afternoon to start the Bobcat and attach the snowblower so it's ready. But the hydraulic line wouldn't snap into place. He worked in the freezing pole barn for over 30 minutes with no luck. He came in and got his heat gun and finally got it to connect. He's still not sure what caused the issue but hopefully it will work fine when we need it tomorrow. Always some challenge to make the day interesting!
