7.7.2020

Jim is trying to salvage pieces from the first doors of the pantry cabinet that he redid.  He's using the stiles and made new rails for a new cabinet door.  Gluing it together...

Last coat of polyurethane on the cabinet shelf...

In the afternoon, we headed outside.  We did a little more precise measuring where we want the new barrier wall to go.

Then Jim started digging...

He's just going down 6-8" or so - just enough for a solid base for the wall.

Doing a little hand shoveling...

Then scraping up the dirt with the Bobcat bucket...

Then it's back to building up along the auto bay wall...

This is such amazing dirt!

Making good progress...

Time for more digging...

Scooping up the dirt...

And it's all placed...

There's a possibility of showers over the next day so we wanted to get enough stone on the dirt to hopefully divert the water and keep things from eroding.  So it was off to the rock pile...

Carrying back big rocks...

Placing...

We did two bucketsful of rocks - things look good and should hopefully be safe if we get any rain.

This is where we ended with the wall base - maybe a third of the way done so that's great!

Jim did grass cutting at the end of the day before calling it quits!

High 78/Low 66 - beautiful!
