Working his way down the stairs...
A bothersome issue for Jim has always been extension cords that come apart when he's working. He's tied them together, used duct tape but still a pain - especially when he's on scaffolding or working high. He found a company that sells extension cords with a locking mechanism so he ordered one. Plus - it's orange and they print a business name on it for free! Very cool!
He also ordered plugs to switch out his old extension cords so he worked on wiring up one today. First he cut the old plug off and then started rewiring...
Then it was drywall time! After figuring out all the tools he needed and getting things organized, he first continued stuffing insulation at the top of the insulated concrete forms...
As well as in the wire paths...
Then we chalked lines where Jim needed to attach screws into the flanges...
5/8" drywall is very heavy!
Jim got it into place and putting in screws...
So nice to have the scaffolding on wheels to just move it into place when needed...
Jim just put in enough screws now to hold the drywall securely in place. Then we marked the next piece and brought it over...
Cutting out the hole for the receptacle...
Putting screws in...sure looks nice to see new drywall up!
Our floors are so pretty - have to keep them that way!
Time to watch Mass!
