Today was International Kissing Day - hope you celebrated!

Jim made a Craigslist sale today so he took the Mini out this morning to meet the guy a bit south of us.  All went well - we got rid of something we can't use and came home with a little cash!

He also spent time talking to his rep at the drywall supplier about his order.  They have been hit with issues relating to the Coronavirus so they are down drivers.  Not sure when we'll get the delivery - hopefully won't be too long!

After lunch, he did a little work in the wood shop - trimming the Formica from the shelf...

And putting a coat of polyurethane on the other side...

Then we headed back outside to play in the dirt some more!  Speaking of dirt, Jim had a small pile at the end of the upper driveway area that he scooped up...

Shoveling the dirt into the wheelbarrow...

Dumping it on the side of the auto bay...

Tamping it down...

Scooping up the last of the dirt...

Looking great!

We have the dirt high enough that we can start adding rocks, so Jim took the Bobcat down to the pile and scooped some up...

Starting with flat, bigger rocks...

Placing...

Bringing more rocks back...

This area looks really good now - a great start!

Another project that we are going to do is to build a rock wall to block off the septic leach field.  I am always nervous when a new truck/vehicle comes up the driveway.  The leach field would be crushed if a big truck decided to turn around in that area.  So we talked about where we wanted it to go and Jim put down some marking paint...

We marked the two ends and a middle point for reference...

Jim then took the battery that we had used in the 4Runner and put it back into the excavator...

And brought the excavator up to where we will build the rock.  Jim is planning on digging a small trench to stabilize the bottom rocks plus we can use that dirt to finish our work on the side of the auto bay.

High 82/Low 61 - beautiful!
