3.2.2020

Jim did more milling on the bottom shelf of the cabinet in anticipation of putting the front maple edge on.  Then the next step will be Formica, although he's going to wait until all the shelves are done and do the Formica all at once.


He did some detail work on the doors, sanding the intricate millwork so that everything fits together perfectly...


He got the side panel of the cabinet all assembled and glued...


In the afternoon, he worked on installing the door frame moldings.  Each one has a two step process - he first fastens through the jamb and then the frame blocking Jim put all around the door opening.  He did the master bedroom closet...


And the inside of the master bedroom door...


The inside of the office door was a little harder.  Because it's a very small piece right next to the wall, he first had to put a spacer...


Then the first fastener...


And the second...


He also did the outside of the office closet door - the top vertical pieces are all that's left!
