Sundays go by way too quickly but Jim always gets lots done nonetheless. Today was a rainy day - our share of Tropical Storm Harvey. No complaints about the rain - we know how fortunate we are and know how many are suffering from this devastating storm.
But a rainy day meant no siding work - Jim worked on marking the rest of the bathroom floor in anticipation of putting down more tile.
He even got the laundry room floor marked for tile...
Then we worked on drywall - we did the first piece of wall section on the other side of the bathroom.
All done...
Jim carries the next big piece to start on the other side of the hallway...
Fastening it into place...
Cutting out the bathroom door...
Putting in the rest of the screws...every time that Jim gets to put screws in the wood, he sees how much easier it is than going through the steel!
Next piece is cut and Jim is walking it down the hall...
Into place and fastening...
Cutting out the door...
The hallway is really taking shape now!
At the end of the day, Jim got the little triangle cut and placed at the top of the wall in the bathroom.
High 54/Low 51 - rainy |
