Jim got all the tile up in the bathroom but decided that today would be mostly an outside work day. There is a slight possibility of a shower tomorrow so we can work inside then. He did put up a couple of pieces of soundproof insulation in the master bedroom...
He got all the siding pieces painted this morning...
And did some painting in the back corner...
Plus he started taking down some scaffolding!
After lunch, he was back up on the roof installing the shingles...
Looking good...
At this point, Jim also had to do lots of measuring to make sure that this side will match with the other side when they meet in the middle soon! Plus he spent quite a bit of time figuring out where he wants the bathroom vent to come out. He's limited with space on this narrow wall section - he got up into the attic to do some exploring.
After all the painted pieces were installed, it was time to make the next batch...
I got all the cut edges primed - Jim will get them painted in the morning.
We then worked on taking a little more scaffolding down...
The back is looking amazing now that you can see more of it!
With just a little time left at the end of the day, we decided to cut the next piece of drywall...
This was another really tall piece that took both of us to carefully get it into place. But it's up and has some screws in so that Jim can cut the receptacle box out.
Then it's fastening time...
Jim decided to use the extension ladder to make reaching the top a bit safer!
This wall section is done!
