Jim worked on cutting more tile for the bathroom this morning - including some really complicated cuts around the toilet stack and Pex tubing.

He got the primed pieces of siding all painted gray...

Then he did the last of the painting on the back side!  Which means we'll be able to start taking scaffolding down soon!

After lunch, Jim got busy installing the siding.  The first pieces around the eave and flashing were the most difficult.

Working up...

All of the pieces that we had cut are now installed!

Jim got the next section of rows all figured out, cut and then I primed them.

Onto drywall...this was the piece that we had cut and marked at the end of the day yesterday.  Jim got it up into place and started to fasten it down.

Cutting out the box...

Then came the really tough piece.  Jim was wishing that Kyle was here for this piece - but he only had me so we had to make it work!  This was a 12' piece (just a few inches cut off to fit) and full width.  The issue with a piece this big is that if it's not supported correctly in the middle, it can just snap.  Jim had it all planned out and we took it slow - we got it up against the wall and then Jim was able to move it into place...

It fit great - Jim is fastening it down.  It was a bit tough because he had to stand on the top of the ladder which is never a good idea, especially when you have to push hard to get the screws through the steel.

But it's all done!

High 78/Low 47 - beautiful!
