Jim's energy always amazes me - this was another busy day!  I ran to Lowe's this morning to take back our 6 (only 6!) leftover tile pieces and then exchanged our grout at Home Depot for a better color.

Meanwhile, Jim had to scrape all the joints from the tile we installed yesterday in the upstairs bathroom - I cleaned the tiles once I got there.

Then after lunch, we got started on mixing the grout for the woodshop bathroom.  The upstairs floors will wait until we are done with drywall and plastering.

Mixing it...

Starting to grout...

Working down the floor...

All done - sort of.

Now it's cleaning time.  We kept two buckets of water and two sponges going - I would clean and rise the sponges while Jim did the floor.

All done...well, sort of again.  Now it has to sit for 2 hours.

So...time to work on other things.  Jim had gotten two fascia boards all painted and pre-drilled.

Putting up the first piece...

Then the next...

Those are all done and look great.

Next, Jim wanted to do a little scaffolding work.  He wanted to be able to put planks from the top platform over to the roof.  This took some juggling and bringing up more platforms...

Fastening the boards...

Then Jim put up a roof jack on this roof section...

The plank is up on the roof jack - now he'll be able to reach the peak and work on the rest of the siding and trim from the front.

Time to clean the grout haze off the floor...

Beautiful!  It may need one more cleaning tomorrow but it looks fabulous!

Jim had cut the next piece of drywall for the outside laundry room wall yesterday, so time to put it in place.

Cutting out this box was a bit more difficult - it was the huge dryer plug.  But he got it...

This was a lesson learned - because of the extra height of the Durock and the tile floor, Jim had very little track left to fasten the bottom.  Next time, he'll order track with a higher flange.

But he got everything fastened so this wall section is almost done - just a sliver left!
